5.1.8.2:F1
Server report generation. The server report is accessible from the web GUI and
through the API /axis-cgi/serverreport.cgi.
5.1.8.2:F2
Support for legacy video sources that only support HTTP basic authentication.
Digest will remain the default option, but it will be possible to change it by
altering the parameter root.Decoder.VideoSourceAuth in /axis-cgi/param.cgi.
Possible values are digest, basic, and basic_digest.

Some scenarios require a quick response time from the time the decoder is losing
the connection with a video source until it displays an error message on the
screen. The parameter root.Decoder.AutoDetectTimeout in /axis-cgi/param.cgi let
the user set a custom time if needed. Default time is 10 seconds.

Added the parameter root.Network.Media in order to change the Ethernet speed.
possible values are auto, 10baseT-HD, 10baseT-FD, 100baseTX-HD, 100baseTX-FD.
Default value is auto.

Implemented the appropriate API:s in order to support the security settings
from Axis Device Manager. T8705 now support certificate management,
enable/disable HTTPS and IEEE 802.1X.

Possibility to enable/disable the use of a link-local address.

Added manual time management in the web GUI. NTP settings was previously the
only setting, but now it's possible to set time zone, daylight saving time, and

Removed the root users default password in factory defaulted firmware. The
password of the root user must be set first in order to initialize VAPIX and
ONVIF interfaces to allow further configuration.
This change only affects products in its factory defaulted state, products that
are already deployed in production systems are not affected by this update until
