Corrections since 5.40.6.1
================
5.40.6.1:L32433
ptz.cgi returns unexpected values when no driver is installed on multi channel
products

5.40.6.1:L32429
Parameter PTZ.CamPorts.Cam#Port shall be -1 when no PTZ driver is installed.
However on multi channel products the value is always > 0 for all but the
first channel.

5.40.6.1:L29780
Camera is not able to connect to the AVHS portal

5.40.6.1:L32251
Accessing the AVHS portal through a proxy does not work.

5.40.6.1:L32791
The quad view stream can in some circumstances be jerky and old images can be
seen in the video stream.

5.40.6.1:L32556
If calling the axis-cgi/disks/networkshare/test.cgi more than 25 times in
5 minutes the storage manager whould go into an infinite loop.

Known Bug/Limitations
================
5.40.5:L1 Using motion detection or tampering and at the same time
requesting a quad stream may cause the unit to restart.

5.40.5:L20 When using the H.264 rate controller with a low GOV length
(e.g. 3) you can get disrupted video. Use GOV length > 10.

5.40.5:L3 A combination of a high bandwidth continuous recording and a lot
of small recordings can result in disc full. The automatic clean up will stop
at that point and the user has to manually remove recordings.

5.40.5:L4 Using modifiers like %c in a network share upload event does not
work.

5.40.5:L5 Multiple simultaneous recordings to SD cards and network shares
can degrade the performance of the system.

AXIS P5544 PTZ Dome Network Camera, version 5.41.2.1

This firmware is now available. Please visit the product's support page on www.axis.com for the download, full release notes and installation instructions.

Corrections in 5.41.2.1 since 5.41.2
================
5.41.2.1:C01 Minor corrections in the web GUI. (zoom bar)

RELEASE 5.41.2
================
5.41.2 is the first official release for AXIS P5544.

Known Bugs/Limitations
================
5.41.2:L01 Maximum brightness will not result in a white image.

5.41.2:L02 The NTP implementation will not synchronize to NTP servers that
signal an alarm condition (clock not synchronized) in its Leap
Indicator.

5.41.2:L03 After changing the date/time of the camera, the video stream will
stop after 60 seconds with an RTSP session time out. It does not
matter if the media stream is started before or after the time is
changed.
Workaround: Reboot the camera after the time has been changed
manually or by NTP.

5.41.2:L04 There is no boundary check when entering a motion detection window
name. If the name is more than 1024 charachters long, the parhand
application may restart.

5.41.2:L05 If RTSP authentication is switched off, streaming H.264 with QuickTime
and other Apple compatible clients will not work as they require
authentication of the RTSP, but do not allow HTTP authentication.

5.41.2:L06 AXIS Media Control client may stop displaying the H.264 video
stream after the PC has been locked.
Workaround: Reload the Live View page.

5.41.2:L07 Daylight saving time does not work for Iran.

5.41.2:L08 Bitmap images have more contrast than the corresponding JPEG images.

5.41.2:L09 Color parameter has no effect when pulling RTSP stream with color=0.

5.41.2:L10 Stream profile names are limited to alphanumerical characters.

5.41.2:L11 Constant bit rate might fluctuate more than 10%.

5.41.2:L12 Events triggered at the same time, will by default settings
share the same filename. This may result in upload of corrupted
image.

5.41.2:L13 It is recommended to unmount the SD Card before ejecting it.

5.41.2:L14 Check and repair is only available if the file system is ext4.

5.41.2:L15 When using action rule resulting in short recordings, it is recommended
to extend post-event time.

5.41.2:L16 Date modifiers "%m-%d-%Y" are not formatted correctly when used
with folder name, SMTP subject and message.

5.41.2:L17 When the automatic IR cut filter enables/disables the IR cut filter,
it may trigger motion detection.

5.41.2:L18 An uploaded audio clip must be less than 1.5MB.

5.41.2:L19 To playback Matroska files generated by the camera on a computer, you
need to have the configuration file ('.conf') in the same folder as
the Matroska file ('.mkv'). For more information
see: http://www.axis.com/techsup/software/matroska/files/readme.txt

5.41.2:L20 Color parameter has no effect when pulling RTSP stream with color=0.

5.41.2:L21 Constant bit rate might fluctuate more than 10%.

5.41.2:L22 It is recommended to unmount the SD Card before ejecting it.

5.41.2:L23 Check and repair is only available if the file system is ext4.

5.41.2:L24 When using action rule resulting in short recordings, it is recommended
to extend post-event time.

5.41.2:L25 Date modifiers "%m-%d-%Y" are not formatted correctly when used
with folder name, SMTP subject and message.

5.41.2:L26 When making a snapshot during live view, with framerate and bandwidth
values enabled as text overlay, the values are shown as 0 in the snapshot.

5.41.2:L27 When using Chrome, Privacy masks page need to be refreshed in order to
show added privacy masks in the list.

5.41.2:L28 On some Windows 7 PC's IP Utility doesn't show the DUT when using IPv6.

5.41.2:L29 Expired or not yet valid client certificates will be uploaded
successfully instead of being rejected.

5.41.2:L30 DVM Honeywell generates criticals when accessing a camera during
the boot sequence.

5.41.2:L31 Script error when opening many live views

5.41.2:L32 Fixed an issue with an uploaded bitmap overlay which was made
partially transparent unconditionally.

5.41.2:L33 Automatic IR Cut Filter will not work if Auto Iris is off.

5.41.2:L34 Switching Auto Iris off may lead to the IR Cut Filter
being enabled/disabled.

5.41.2:L35 AMC sometimes crashes at startup on some versions of
Internet Explorer.

5.41.2:L35 Privacy masks are not visible in overview image.

5.41.2:L36 Overlay images are not visible in overview image.

5.40.9.2:F09 Power line frequency has been introduced.

After setting initial root password, select the power line frequency
(50 Hz or 60 Hz) used at the location of the Axis product.
Selecting the right frequency will reduce image flicker if the product
is used in fluorescent light environments.

When using 50 Hz, the maximum frame rate is limited to 25 fps.

5.40.9.2:C14 Fixed an issue with an uploaded bitmap overlay which was made partially
transparent unconditionally.

5.40.9.2:C15 Corrected the issue of stopping and restarting running events when an
event or event server is added, modified or deleted.

5.40.9.2:C16 Bitmap images have same contrast as the corresponding JPEG images.

5.40.9.2:C17 The critical message, "Failed to write to file. Broken pipe" due to
short time between unregistering and registering to Axis Internet Dynamic DNS
will not be shown in the log.

5.40.9.2:C18 While installing AMC, clicking "View Certificate" in "Digital Signature Details"
will not show expired validation date for AAC and H.264.

5.40.9.2:L02 Stream profile names are limited to alphanumerical characters.

5.40.9.2:L03 Limiting the bandwith to lower than 100kbit/s may lead to
losing contact with the camera.

5.40.9.2:L04 The camera can not play an audio clip while a viewer is sending/
receiving audio from to/from the camera.

5.40.9.2:L05 An uploaded audio clip must be less than 1.5MB.

5.40.9.2:L06 If a customer is trying to upload a very large file instead of a
valid language file, a "404 page cannot be displayed" page is
shown.

5.40.9.2:L07 With audio enabled, the initial connection latency increases.

5.40.9.2:L08 Adding color=0 to the rtsp video link will not result in
black&white image. Set color to 0 in Camera Settings instead.

5.40.9.2:L09 Video stream lost when clock is synchronizing to a past computer time.

5.40.9.2:L10 Frame Size Control does not affect the size of the snapshot taken with
the upper right control that can be added to the Live View.

adjusted in a future release.

5.40.9.2:L12 Events triggered at the same time, will by default settings
share the same filename. This may result in upload of corrupted
image.

Known Bugs/Limitations
================
5.40.9.2:L01 The image is always showed with zero rotation at the Exposure
settings page.

5.40.9.2:L02 The effect of backlight compensation on/off may not be noticeable.

5.40.9.2:L03 Stream profile names are limited to alphanumerical characters.

5.40.9.2:L04 After re-configuring the date/time of the camera, the video stream might stop
with an RTSP session time out.
Workaround: Reconnect to the stream.

5.40.9.2:L05 AXIS Media Control client may stop displaying the H.264 video
stream after the PC has been locked.

5.40.9.2:L06 If a customer is trying to upload a very large file instead of a
valid language file, a "404 page cannot be displayed" page is
shown.

5.40.9.2:L07 When the policy is set to HTTPS, this must apply to all three groups
admin, viewer and operator. If this is not the case and someone is
connecting with HTTP the re-direct page will not show.

5.40.9.2:L08 When snapshot is taken during live view with frame rate and bandwidth
values enabled as text overlay, the values are shown as 0 in the snapshot.
This happens for H.264 stream.

5.40.9.2:L09 Selected motion detection window changes/switches every time one chooses
'View All Windows' followed by 'View Selected Window'. Observerd behaviour
in Firefox and IE8 using Java.

5.40.9.2:L10 Adding color=0 to the rtsp video link will not result in
black&white image. Set color to 0 in Camera Settings instead.

5.40.9.2:L11 Frame Size Control does not affect the size of the snapshot taken with
the upper right control that can be added to the Live View.

5.40.9.2:L12 Constant bit rate might fluctuate more than 10%.

5.40.9.2:L13 Events triggered at the same time, will by default settings
share the same filename. This may result in upload of corrupted
image.

5.40.9.2:L14 If RTSP authentication is switched off, streaming H.264 with QuickTime
and other Apple compatible clients will not work as they require
authentication of the RTSP, but do not allow HTTP authentication.

5.40.9.2:L15 When using action rule resulting in short recordings, it is recommended
to extend post-event time.

5.40.9.2:L16 Date modifiers "%m-%d-%Y" are not formatted correctly when used
with folder name, SMTP subject and message.

5.40.9.2:L17 For ONVIF, GetCapabilities returns incorrect port number in XAddr
when web server port is changed to something else than 80.

1. Clean up policy is enabled by default and the default value
for the parameter is 1 week.

2. Parameter for clean up level is in the Plain Config and default
is set at approximately 90% of the storage device capacity.

3. The start time of a recording is updated when data is removed
due to clean up policy.

5.40.9.2:F07 Power line frequency has been introduced.

Note: After initial configuration, power line frequency can only
be changed through Plain Config (capture frequency parameter)
or by resetting the product to factory default.

mail body of an SMTP test mail.

5.40.9.2:C13 The event combination option "Include pre-trigger buffer" and
"Upload as long as the trigger is active" works together.

without all running events being stopped and restarted.

5.40.9.2:C16 Boundary check added when entering a motion detection window
name to prevent the parhand application to restart if the name is
more than 1024 charachters long.

5.40.9.2:C17 The NTP client will also synchronize to NTP servers that
signal an alarm condition (clock not synchronized) in its Leap
Indicator.

5.40.9.2:C30 Corrected an intermittent AVHS logging issue (since 5.40.9).

Known Bugs/Limitations
================
